Shopping Spree! Where we found our deals

Amazon is very convenient, has good pricing, and we got a lot of stuff from them. We've listed some other options below, but some of these are local to the San Francisco area. I'm also not sure if they ship internationally.

• REI: We are huge fans of REI, and are members. If you're not familiar with REI, it's a co-op. You pay a small membership fee ($10, one-time, I think). We also get notices of their annual sales (and the 20% coupons that come with that). And we always use them up! REI is also nice because you can walk into the store and talk to someone knowledgeable.
• Additionally, we had luck finding good deals at Sierra Trading Post, BigSkyCountry.com and Moosejaw.com
• For BigSkyCountry, they had a promotion where - if you sign up for their email list, they'll send you a coupon code. There are a list of restrictions, but if you use chat or phone in, they seem pretty lenient about letting you apply the code.
• We also purchased quite a lot from our local sports equipment store, Sports Basement. We had purchased another rain jacket from Sports Basement, for just $5 cheaper. But again, our California rain jacket didn't hold up to the heavier rains once we were traveling. We're stuck with this "rain jacket", though...
